The property is situated along the Princes Freeway and originally was approved for development as a single industrial warehouse. The site is located in Point Cook which is located approximately 29 kilometers from the Melbourne CBD and is Australia's fastest growing suburb.
Lyons principals acquired the property in partnership with local industrial builders, CVA Developments. Lyons was responsible for leading the acquisition, planning and permitting efforts and secured approval to develop the site as a mixed-use project with industrial, retail showrooms and office space. Construction of two Class A industrial/retail buildings, comprising 200,000 Sf2, was completed in 2010. Lyons participated in all phases of the project through lease-up and successfully exited the project in 2013.
